The collective ethos of the Association is to conserve the environment and promote eco-tourism
The Watamu Safari Seller’s Association was formed in 1992 as a network of several tour and safari sellers. The association now has over 260 members including tour companies, individual safari sellers and tour guides in the Watamu area.
WSSA operate from Watamu, but provide a first class service of tours and excursions with professional qualified guides to the Kenyan National Parks and Reserves including Tsavo, Amboseli, Masai Mara and Nakuru and also Mount Kenya.
We are also concerned about the local environment so we organize beach clean-ups with our membership, offer education and awareness to the community on conservation issues and work with and through other local groups and associations to advocate for more responsible environmental use.
We work actively with Watamu Marine Association on all the WMA projects and initiatives.
Our Chairman is a WMA executive member and is very active in community development work.
Where are we?
Our touring service is second to none. We would be happy to help you plan your next adventure to one of our area’s beautiful community-based tourism sites! We provide free information to tourists from the main office “Fly Back Tours and Safaris” situated next to Blue Bay Village.
Prices can be obtained on request, however the samples below offer an indication of our rates per person per day.
