Since 1994, TBSL has specialised in providing services in survey, construction and management of private properties. The reputation we have built is solid and we now manage at least 18 homes. Most of these were constructed under supervision from TBSL
Jonjoloka:
Traditional coastal Lamu style influences and an obvious love for boats is evident in the design, with use of drift wood along the free standing stairway all create a stunning picture.
This 3 storey house has 3 ensuite bedrooms - 2 double and a twin bedroom - all fully furnished. There is an expansive veranda in front of the pool with a dining table; Terraces can be found on the 1st floor and the roof top for those relaxing evenings.
There is a barbecue area near the pool. The house is fully staffed and has an askari. Arrangements can be made for a cook at an additional fee.
The house is a 7 minute stroll from the beautiful Watamu beaches and also within walking distance of Mida Creek.
Maximum 8 people
Blue Lagoon:
A spacious 3 bedroom house that can accommodate up to 10 people. Blue Lagoon is on the edge of the beach close to Watamu Village. A huge veranda overlooks the stunning Indian Ocean, with ample space for dining or taking a nap on the Lamu beds.
All bedrooms are ensuite.
There is a cook, cleaner and gardener available.
Clare House:
This 4 bedroom house is decorated in a mix of Swahili and western influences. The living area downstairs opens up to a veranda overlooking the swimming pool.
Large spacious rooms with fans and mosquito nets and a large veranda on the 1st floor are all part of the charm.
The house has a cook and a gardener/pool attendant and sleeps a maximum of 8 people.
Dar Mida:
Asian influences fill this lovely house on Mida Beach.
This 3 bedroom house has a large downstairs veranda overlooking the swimming pool and gardens. The swimming pool has a horse shoe shallow end ideal for children.
Downstairs, there are 2 ensuite bedrooms, while a 3rd bedroom upstairs has an ensuite WC and sink. The top floor has a bar area, extra 4 poster bed with breathtaking views!
The house has 2 cooks, cleaner, gardener, pool attendant and boat operator. Should you choose to bring your own boat, there is a private docking area just outside the gate.
Maximum – 6 people.
